I'm eager to utilize Cortana but I've received the message that it's not available in my region, which at this time is Los Angeles. My software is up to date. Does anyone know when Cortana will be available in L.A., if this is indeed the reason I can't run the service? Or, is it my phone? I would like to switch to a Microsoft Lumia 640 or 640XL when they are available in the U.S., but might not if I still won't be able to use Cortana.
I purchased my Nokia Lumia 635 on Amazon. It's a single SIM international version. My service provider is AT & T.
Windows Phone was an adjustment but it seems more efficient and logical, although I would like to see a slightly less hard edged, industrial aesthetic, more upper case letters, and a different font, but those are aesthetic issues. My primary concern is getting Cortana to/in Los Angeles.
