Windows 10 PC with Server 2008 R2

Hey everyone, I'm kinda T.I. manager at a company I work for and I want to ask if Windows 10 works well with Windows Server 2008 R2. Anyone care to help me please? Thanks!

Are you trying to join Windows 10 to a domain running on Server 2008R2? It should run without issue, many of the GPOs for Windows 7 or 8 should still work properly with Windows 10

Yes, that's exactly what I'm trying to do, but Windows 7 Home didn't work, so we had to upgrade all machines do Professional version of that same system. Now we want to put Windows 10 on them and hope I works. Also we really depend on those PCs so it cannot go wrong. Sure it works? Also a second opinion would be nice, or an internet reference! Thanks in advance.

Windows 7, 8 and 10 all have the same naming scheme in that you need to have the Professional SKU to have get domain joining. So, with Windows 10, you will need to have Windows 10 Professional or Windows 10 Enterprise to get domain access.
