Im not seeing the get Windows 10 app on my taskbar

I have a dell inspiron laptop that a bought running Windows 8.. Now i have 8.1 and i would love to have Windows 10 at the end of July.. I've checked and installed all the updates available for download in including the all important KB3035583.. but for some strange reason i done see the get Windows 10 app icon.. And I'm pretty sure my laptop meets our even exceeds the minimum requirements. Plz help

Minimum requirements are not the criteria for getting the free W10 update. You have to meet other requirements:
- Genuine Win7 SP1 or Win8.1 update install
- No enterprise version
- other requirements I forgot.

Please google on "free win 10 upgrade requirements" and all the info is yours.....

I had this problem yesterday and went to look for a solution.

The first few steps doesn't for me but the last one did.

if you're still having trouble with this, try the method using the file from dropbox. Download and run the bat file then follow the instructions.
