Why there is a YouTube app for Xbox 360/One and not for Windows Phone?

The question says all.. i'm really tired about this, Windows Phone is a GREAT os, despite that developers are ignoring the OS, and btw with Project Astoria and Universal stuff the story it stills the same...
Damn, this is so annoying.

Well, there is Metrotube, which honestly kinda trumps any need for an official app.

But, yes I acknowledge that isn't the crux of your query. But as long we have good 3rd party support, should we really care if official apps are available?

I honestly don't say that condescendingly, but I genuinely don't see why its important. I am more than willing to have my ignorance disputed on this.
