Should I switch from 920 to 640 or wait for the new cityman?

I have never had a 920, but I would say that it depends on the condition of your 920 and why you are considering switching. Is it the battery, curiosity, Lumia Denim or something else?

Aside from the camera being lesser (from what I heard), it could be a good in-between phone. I have a 640, and I like it quite a bit. It does the job, it's light, fits in one hand, and of course, the sd slot too.

I may be getting my 640 tonight, I plan to get the 640 and wait for the cityman and talkman to not only come out, but hit the online market and lowers dramatically in price, I don't like contracts, but I'm also not paying almost 600 dollars for one item, I'd rather wait til it goes down.

Op: Your question is sort of incomplete without understanding your need. (performance, battery life, camera, just another phone, etc.)

My 920 is quite old, about 2 years.
It's not as smooth as it was and I'm struggling with the old 2,000 battery.
I simply wonder if the 640 will be enough improvement cause it's a medium level device whereas the 920 was a flagship once.

I had 920, now I have 830. Happy with it because it is a slight but upgrade comparing to my ex 920. If you want to go for 640, I'd choose 640XL. 640 is not worth leaving 920 behind in my opinion

I'd consider a battery replacement also. The only real plus I think the 640 has is (arguably) the larger display and SD card slot and the removable, larger battery. (and more efficient guts too as well as SensorCore...)
