Accidental camera launch?

Everytime i unlock my phone,the camera always launches so I have to cancel it ans return to the lock screen and then enter my PIN to unlock the phone.Has anyone have an idea on this?I already unchecked the unlock phone using camera buttom but still this happens.

You are sure your finger is not holding down the camera button?

Go back to Settings > applications > photos + camera > uncheck the box for "Press and hold camera button to wake up the phone" as well.

If this does not solve your issue, try a hard reset. If it continues, seek repair.

Yes im sure im not holding the camera button.i tried pressing the camera button and i noticed that its somewhat broken.its very soft and its hard to press to launch the camera.

That would be a hardware issue that only a repair will fix.
