How can I get the Store to open?

Store won't open.

I just upgraded from the preview to full windows 10 and now the store won't open. The window opens and shows the icon but then closes every time I try to open it. I'd like to avoid reinstalling the OS.

I'm having the same issue on the Insider build. If I find a solution somewhere I'll post it here.

sfc didn't solve the problem but I found this in the event log

FriendlyEventName=Stopped working
ConsentKey=MoAppCrash
AppName=Microsoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbwe!App​

I found a solution that works for me on Microsoft Answers, I'd post a link to it if I could but here's the text.

i managed to get store working. just go this location:-

C:\Users\user_name\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache

and delete all the files and folders. open store.it will open.
