How much memory to I need to update a Dell Venue tablet to Windows 10?

I've got a Dell Venue Pro that I've had for a few months that I'd like to update to Windows 10. I, so far, have not seen it download yet. I've wondered if I lack the free space to download it. The entire tablet only had about 20gb total. I've deleted a bunch of apps that I can always reinstall later, but I've got a bit under 3gb free.

I've got an SD card installed with almost nothing on it and close to 60gb free, but I doubt that the update will install to that storage.

I've attempted to force the download a couple time with no success. Can anyone tell me if I should be anticipating problems here?
