Has Cortana stopped working in the UK?

cortana not working in UK

Downloaded Windows 10 in UK onto Dell laptop but immediately got a message that "Cortana isnt supported in the region and language youve selected" Ive changed everything to UK English inc language pack , restarted but still get the same message.

Same here seeing the same message on Dell XPS 13, in the U.K.

No idea what's going on.

Installed Win 10 today on my Acer v15 and cortana is not working, don't know why, first it gave underage, and I am 35, then it gave region not supported then blocked due to company policy !!!!! does anybody know what is happening ??

I am having the exact same problem. My first PC I upgraded to Windows 10 works fine with Cortana but the second PC keep telling me that Cortana is not available in this country.
I have set everything exactly the same on each PC but still no luck.
I have read about it on Microsoft's forums and it seems like a ton of ppl are having the same problem.

Finally got cortana to work for UK, If any you guys are having problems getting it to work with UK language here's what I had to do to.

Start>settings

Time & language

Region & language

Additional date, Time & Region settings

Clock, Language and Region

Language

Advanced settings

Change override English(UK)

Apply Language settings to the welcome screen, system accounts and new user accounts

Copy settings

Tick Welcome Screen and System Accounts box / OK

Restart computer.
