why is my microphone not working

why is my microphone not working with the windows 10 on my laptop, worked previously with win 7

Visit site
Right click the volume icon on the taskbar and select recording devices, your internal microphone might not be set as the default. If not, right click it and make it the default recording device. Hope this helps
