Installed Windows 10 and now no sound. What's up with that?

Just installed Windows 10 and now the sound does not work. I've been searching for answers without much luck. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Possible cause could be your sound driver or whatever its called. Maybe the driver you have is not yet supported on Windows 10 or could be outdated. Look for the currently installed driver (e.g. Realtek) and find updates on that.

I've been dealing with this since last night. It even happened on my fricken SURFACE PRO 3. I downloaded the "driver pack" but got an error trying to apply it that said "contact the author..." just shoot me.:crying:
