I've installed Windows 10 on release day and I've noticed that my boot time went from about less than 15 secs to more than a minute. There was a black screen before the welcome screen and it was just unusually long.

I have a lenovo laptop and I'm not sure what other details I should include here (not very tech-savvy). That's why I'm not very sure what happened and what I should do. :(

Thank you in advance for your help.

My boot time with W10 was a horrendous 6 minutes. I have a Z570 Lenovo. I've switched back to W7 for now. Boot time 10 seconds.

Sorry, I don't have an answer.

I had to do another defrag / optimize after upgrading to W10. It did help with boot time, still not as fast as windows 7 but better than what it was after the initial upgrade.
