i would try something: check if the network card is OK, as well as all the tcp-ip layer.
can you execute CMD, and in the black CMD window, you type ipconfig /all and press Enter
normally, you should have some new text in that window, like
--configuration IP windows----
hostame...
xxxx....
dhcp
xxx
ETHERNET CARD :
DNS suffixe : lan
xxxx.........
xxxxx.......
ccccc......
IPv4 ADDRESS ................................... 192.168.1.x
you should have an ip address, in order to have access to the network-internet
by doing this, we can be sure your network card IS OK and working, and we can search somewhere else.
