How can you tell if you screenshotted correctly or if you can screenshot at all?

I'm not sure if my laptop (Dell Inspiron 15 Intel) can screenshot or not.
But if it can, how do I do it and how do I know it worked? And where does it save the screenshot to?

Search for Snipping Tool. It is built into the OS.

It's pretty self explanatory and easy to use. It will save where you darn well tell it save to. That's right, you can boss it around like that.


If you need to Record Your Screen that is a whole other kettle of fish.

Or check if you have a print screen (prn scr) button on the keyboard. It will copy your whole screen to the clipboard.
