Electrical hissing sound in standby SP3

After the Windows 10 upgrade on my Surface Pro 3 I notice an electrical hissing sound coming from the CPU only during stand by mode. Has anybody else had this issue?

not sure if its a windows 10 issue, I just noticed it after the fact.
Its not a fan sound, definitely electrical.
Only happens in standby.

I won't even pretend to have a clue why your device has developed an electrical issue since updating, however I would strongly advise that you get in touch with Microsoft Surface support team (this is the UK website, I'm pretty sure there are country specific support teams Contact Microsoft Answer Desk for Surface) and let them know about it.

You'll find that they're very helpful and will definitely want to know about potential hardware issues as a result of upgrading to W10
