Windows Central Question

Browsing my home network is painfully slow at first.

After up grading to windows 10 from windows 7, browsing my local network has become painfully slow from when I click the network icon, the pc on the network take up to 30 seconds to appear. Also I have a small file server running windows 8.1 which when it does finally appear in the network, I click on it from the list of computers in the network window & I get an error stating that the network computer cannot be found, if I leave it for say 30 seconds then click on it I can then access the files on the server.
Once I have made connection the network is fine, it's just the initial start-up.

It suggests that your computer is too old? When did you buy it? Mine is quite the same. In the initial boot-up, it is very slow to open any programs. But after a while, it runs smoothly even though i didn't do anything to it.
