So I upgraded (free) from Windows 7 to Windows 10. The program I used to use on 7 to watch dvd's was PowerDVD. However after the Windows 10 install, this program would not function. I kept getting the message "This video could not be decoded." when I tried to watch a DVD. So I searched to find out about all the new features included with the Windows 10 upgrade, and saw it had "Windows DVD Player" .So I tried that....and I got the same message. "This Video could not be decoded". And yes, I know about VLC. But I would rather get the program I already have to work before installing another. Any tips? Thanks.
