WPCentral Question

I have an Alienware with windows 7. I downloaded the new windows 10 and installed it. When I did it wiped out my wifi connection so I had to revert back to Windows 7, VOILA! Problem was fixed and my wifi is once again perfect. Does anyone know a solution to this?? I would love to upgrade to Windows 10, however, that issue makes it impossible.

Did you try reinstalling the WiFi driver after the upgrade. That might resolve it. There were a few driver I had to reinstall after my upgrade ans it was sorted after that

Quite likely you need new drivers. And an uninstall of the old drivers first.

Check the OEM Support site for your device and/or the hardware component. Download new drivers if they can be found... Open Device Manager and expand the component category.

Disable the device and uninstall the drivers for it. Reboot. Run the driver install utility you downloaded from your OEM. Reboot, even if it does not advise you to...
