Why is YouTube + iTunes not working on Windows 10?

I updated to Windows 10 a while ago. Since been having lots of issues, not the least is that the sound does not work for iTunes. Furthermore, neither sound nor video works for YouTube. I've done some testing on other sites and neither soundcloud nor 8tracks work either. I am using all these websites in Chrome.

You have to enable active x in privacy settings. you do this in internet explorer. Click on the little gear in the upper right hand side in internet explorer. Go to add ons and make sure that shock wave flash object is enabled. Sound drivers go to the manufacture of your computer and download the up to date driver for windows 8.1 and download and install it
