I was wondering when Cortana will be available on Windows phones in Ireland?

the truth of the matter is that Cortana development stopped more than a year ago in regard to adding more countries -outside the 13 we have, you can't have Cortana unless you change region settings or such

This absolutely sucks. It seems as if MS have decided to give up on Windows Mobile. How short sighted. There is a huge ga[ in the market for business users that MS could have cornered.

Cortana is no longer just mobile - it's for all windows 10 devices

What they are currently doing with Cortana is adding more features and deepening the integration with the OS and associated services/apps. Cortana is growing in capability but not in coverage with respect to other countries. Possibly their human resources can only do one major project - either make it better and smarter at the expense of targeting more countries or targeting more countries but risk being left behind by other AI assistants
