How to switch on the wifi while windows phone updating

My windows phone getting update without internet connection. i need to stop or cancel the update. following ways are i tried to stop the updating

1. switch off the phone - it is get automatically switch on and again updating

You'll have to allow the update to finish. There is no way to stop it. If this was updating to W10M TP, then you'll just have to roll back after the update. Let it hook up to Wi-Fi and finish is the best you can do.
