I wanna ask. What is the best way for me to keep my Lumia safe while in an airport. To prevent any damages from xray scanner. Should I switch off my Lumia when scanned or it is safe to let it switched on? Thank you.

Smartphones don't get affected by x-ray scanners. I put mine through them all the time.

SD cards are not effected either.

I work at a major international airport, my 930 goes through x-ray all the time and I've seen no effects whatsoever.

I've been flying for more than 40 years and no device of mine has been affected by x rays - you need to be more worried about your own body (depending on how often you fly) and the airport staff mishandling your stuff lol. Someone fumbled my 1520, taking it out of the tray, it was hot and sweaty - the 1520 came away totally unscathed though! Seriously, it's not an issue, the technology isn't affected at the doses used.
