Is the screen on the Microsoft band likely to scratch easily?

I understand that there was an update to the screen at the end of 2014 which improved the screen's durability. is this true?

I had the day one version and it was replaced recently. Screen seems similar to me. Which means you can scratch it but reality is even if scratched, in use you don't really notice.
