Why can't I find my Registered User password?

I can't find my Registered User password.

I am trying to connect my iMAC to my laptop. I have the PC shared and is visible to the iMAC as a Guest user. When I try to connect as a registered user so I can actually view files it asks for my user name and password. It automatically populates a username, but I don't know how to find/change my PC password.

iMAC running OS X Yosemite
PC running Windows 10

On Windows 10, go to Start->Settings. From there, choose Accounts. Now select Sign-in options.

From here you can change the password. You will need to know your password to change your password.

If you set up Windows 10 with a Microsoft Account, then the password will be the password for your Microsoft Account.
