Half of Start Screen is gone!

WPCentral Question

I have no idea what happened. I was checking my phone every other hour at work, and then I clocked out of work. After getting in my car, I checked my phone, and half of the start screen was gone, and all of the start screen seemed to have shrunk.

The rest of the phone is fine, and everything works fine, it's just the start screen that is like that.

I believe I'm running Windows 8.1 "Cyan".

I think I left it unlocked in my pocket and something was changed in the settings.
If you leave my phone unlocked in your pocket it will call people and do weird things.

If anyone could explain this (the start screen problem, not the pocket-dial problem) I would be very grateful.

Thank you. (Make sure to look at the picture for reference on the problem!)

Yes, it's a feature. If you long-press the windows button, the screen will jump down. This allows you to use the top part of the screen without stretching your fingers upwards.

Long press again to restore the screen to how it was.

It would be a great idea to get into the habit of locking your screen before you put your phone in your pocket.
