    Common to all of the sewer out there is lack of trust and lack of differentiation.

    How about making the Radio Interface Layer and baseband transparent and trustworthy so insurance underwriters can actually say "Gee, this IS worth a second glance, nobody else has that". It would get hobbyists too.

    Instead we have more landfill. Does anyone "get it" that trust and confidentiality is a highly valuable thing for companies and Microsoft could readily steal a big march here ?

    Well, if you can figure out how to use that to make the average consumer want that transparency over say, Snapchat then I suppose that's worth a look.
