Getting BSOD Windows 8.1 Pro to Windows 10 Pro (at ~72%) - Windows update error code: C1900101-40017

WPCentral Question

Hi everyone, I'm trying to update my Sony VAIO Flip 13 (SVF13N17PXB) with Windows 8.1 Pro to Windows 10 Pro. During the installation process (Installing features and drivers part) I get stock on 6% of "features and driver installation" (for like a good 30 min). Then installation get stock on 71% (overall % completion), a time at which I get a BSOD (DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE).
After the restart (rolling back to Windows 8.1 of course), I get a windows update error: C1900101-40017.
I suspect this is a driver issue, does anyone have this same problem and knows what might be causing this issue (I successfully updated my Sony VAIO DUO 11 in ~20 minutes with no problem, and my drivers and Windows updates in that computer were really out of date so I don't know what the issue might be).
Thanks everyone beforehand
