So I backed up my computer files to an sd card on the OS windows 7. I was wondering how and if 1i can put my files back on to my computer. Will it change my new OS windows 10 to the old OS windows 7?

That depends on what you backed-up onto your SD Card. Restoring documents, music, videos and other non-system files will not affect your OS version.

However, if you backed your entire Windows 7 OS up (e.g. the C:/Windows folder, etc.), then it would not be a good idea to copy those system files onto your current system file folders - doing so is usually not allowed but in case you are able to do that doing so will corrupt your current OS.

So, in summary: you can copy your non-system files back to your new OS from your back up; you should not copy your old system files back to your new OS.
