Problem installing windows 10 - the selected drive is in Gpt format

Is there a way to install windows 10 on my hp probook 4540s without converting gpt to mbr?

Sure you have a 64bit installer? You might see this if you have the 32bit one.

Ok, turns out if you are using the media creator to make a USB bootable disk, that that uses a MBR format which can cause this error. Enable Legacy Boot Mode in your BIOS.
