The SP4 would be my first Surface tablet. I will be using standard business applications and applying simple (non professional) Photoshop tweaks to snapshots and maybe some light video editing. I tend to shy away from anything entry level, but I'm not prepared to buy the top of the line. I'm looking at a mid spec machine, but unsure of how much memory I need. Could someone please advise?

Business apps will run 4GB fine. Light video editing and Photoshop may require 8GB. Heavy video editing (professional) then 16GB.

I'd probably go for the i5/8GB/256 option. Base model would work though if video editing is not that important, but having 8GB will more future proof a device and make it overall faster.
