Windows 10 upgrade stuck at "installing update 1 of 1"

So last night a big windows 10 message thing came up on my laptop and told me that I should upgrade for free. I did, and when I restarted my laptop it went to the normal update screen and said "keep your PC on until this is done. installing update 1 of 1". It took a long time so I had to leave it on over night. So now it's been about 12 hours and it's still installing? I really need my laptop so should I turn off my laptop? I tried doing Ctrl + Alt + delete but that didn't do anything. Do I need to just give it more time? Please help!
