Why is my user Profile always spelled incorrectly?

User Profile always spelled incorrectly

When ever I sign into a new Windows 8 or Windows 10 device, my user name when looking under: C:\Users\ is always spelled incorrectly.

I always sign in using my Microsoft account but it never asks me for what username I want to use. Is there a way to change what username Microsoft uses by default when you log into a machine with your Microsoft Account?

The only way to do this would be to create a local account first during Windows setup (or as a secondary account) and then convert it to a Microsoft account at a later date.

When creating a Microsoft account from scratch, without using a local one first, the user profile directory seems to be named the first 5 characters of the email address of the account - at least from all the machines I've set up like that.
