Why is my phone not charging and powering?

When I plug the phone it indicates the battery sign with a red bar and the charger/plug-in sign keeps bleeping or flashing but the phone does not charge. It does not become ON even when it is plugged to the power source. I bought a new battery and tried to charge and switch on but the same thing happens.

Give ur phone at most 20 min to charge and when ur phone reach 5% it will turn on automatically
And if it do not turn on after max to max 30 min which it should as per ur description then there might be some problem with ur phone.
