Installing Win 10 has left my screen blank. How do I fix this or go back to Win7?

While installing Win 10 over my Win 7 on my Dell Inspiron the screen is black, I can't get Win 10 or Win 7 to work. The screen stays black. When I reboot the new Win 10 logo (only) appears and the little balls spin for 30 seconds. Then, the logo disappears along with the spinning balls and the screen goes black. I cannot get any program nor Windows to appear.................HELP!

Check your bios to use igp graphics and remove secure boot if you have it enabled. Sometimes when updating it actually May show a black screen for a while instead of progress. Happened to me. Did you wait it out?
