phone hotspot shows limited access on my computer

[Windows Central Question]

My Samsung Galaxy s6 hotspot was working on my windows 8.1 Toshiba laptop for 15min. I was watching netflix then out of nowhere stopped working. It showed limited access. I've tried restarting computer and phone. Did not work. I've tried other things that I've found on the Internet and don't work either. Any suggestions?

Depending on whats at fault here, you may need to head on over to Android Central which is dedicated to Android phones.

Can you see if another device can connect and use the internet? If that other device doesn't work, try AndroidCentral since we focus on Windows Phones.
If it does, then something's up with your PC most likely.
