How to back up my 1020?

I tried to back up my data but I get en message back up cannot done now try again later. My photos which used to flow to onedrive, this has stopped some time ago. How can I turn this function on again?

The solution that has worked for the majority (not all) who encounter this problem is to delete the current backup, and then restart the backup attempt. But the safest way to keep a backup of your photos/videos is to copy them directly to your PC.
