Windows Central Question

In past three months I noticed that something called "Data pro obnoveni" (which means something like "recovery data" or "data for recovery") is consuming 400-500MB per month on data connection. Can anyone tell me what it might be and how to stop it? Those MBs are really missing at the end of month. Thanks in advance.

Several users have been seeing this. I've seen it on my phones.

I've not found any definitive explanation. It may be some sort of periodic polling to give a more in-depth backup. I'm just guessing. Mine spiked to 600+MB, then retreated to 400+ MB. This month so far so good. It is just a trickle.

Definitely camping out on Home WiFi if you are able to is a good tactic.

I wish I had better answers. Note that in this first thread, I'd not yet encountered the issue personally: http://forums.windowscentral.com/ask-question/303567-data-restore-using-mobile-data.html
