Will One Drive compress my photos?

Hello,
I just signed up for Amazon's unlimited photo cloud storage. However, I noticed that my uploaded photos' size had decreased substantially after downloading them again. Does anyone know if One Drive will decrease the quality of my photos as well?

I'm not aware of it doing so, unless you set your phone to upload photos that are compressed, but otherwise its just storage.

OneDrive does not compress photos. Amazon Cloud and Google Drive both compress photos.

If you're using a Windows Phone, you need to upload your photos to OneDrive using WiFi if you want them to be uploaded at full resolution. If you use mobile data to upload the photos, then they will be compressed.

If you use Android, you may upload full resolution photos to OneDrive using WiFi or mobile data.

I'm not sure if photos uploaded to OneDrive from an iPhone require WiFi for full resolution, or if photos from an iPhone can be uploaded at full resolution using mobile data.

I don't believe it compresses video either.
