The Mini Display Ports do not work for new Surface Port Replicator

Received in the new port replicator to use with a new Surface Pro 3. The Mini Display Ports do not work for supporting Monitors. Is this a known issue? There seems to be chatter on forums backing that it may be.

Tried all varieties of adapters, USB to DVI and Mini DP to DVI - USB works and DP doesn't. Tried two Mini DP - DVI adapters - neither one works. The Mini DP on the actual surface works to run the monitor when plugged in.

Anyone else seeing this?

Are you talking about the display dock? i had one stop working on the mini DP about 4 months ago and they sent out a replacement.....which has just started also not to work with mini DP, tried 2 different monitors but no joy, only works when plugged into the SP3 directly on the side. Due to the fact that the swap out was painless and they didnt even ask for the old one to be returned i suspect this may be a 'known issue'
