Windows Central Question

Hello!

Some time ago, I played around with my search indexing settings. Now, I seem to remember that when I had several images files (jpgs) which contained text in them, when I searched for a word in file explorer (in the folder that the images were contained), the results would show up images that had that particular word in it.

For example, if I searched for 'Microsoft', images that contained the word 'Microsoft' would come up.

That's what sort of happens when you search on OneDrive.com - OCR.

That doesn't work for me anymore. Although I can't really remember if it ever did. I just want some of you guys to tell me if your system can do the above.

If so, is there a setting I need to change?

I'm running Windows 8.1.

Thank you!
