my windows 10 photo app does not work is there a fix for it

when ever i try to open the photo app it closes immediately

I've had this problem for over a week now, but apart from your post I haven't seen any mention of it. I can take photos in the camera app, but as soon as i click on the little icon of the pic in the corner to see it, I just get a blank screen - or it goes straight back to the camera app screen.

There is an update in the app store, but tit never succeeds in updating, leaving me with the following message;

Something went wrong.

The error code is 0x8103010D, in case you need it'

Very frustrating.

If anyone knows why this is or has a fix, please speak up!

Also having this problem on my desktop PC, sometimes if I am fast enough I can open a picture, but as soon as I close that the app closes.

That I am aware I am fully updated and the OS is W10 Pro 10586.29 but this issue happened before that update.

It doesn't happen on my Surface Pro 3.

Just managed to get in long enough to open setting and my version is 15.1208.10480.0

Once I got out of settings the app closed.
