My lumia930 won't charge, lock button doesn't work

I've tried four different cables to check whether it had anything to do with the wires I had but unfortunately, no.
and the lock button also doesn't work.
I've tried soft reset multiple times and the problem still remains
It was working perfectly fine just a few hours ago. Didn't install any new apps at all
if possible i'd like to avoid doing hard reset because i've had some problems with backing up too so i don't want to lose anything important.
Help would be really appreciated
