how to switch out of task view mode?

My computer updated and is now in task view mode. I would like to switch back to what I had before. I like having all of my tabs at the bottom of the screen so I can easily switch between them that way. Also, my task bar is completely black, and it says that icons are there that I can click on, but why can't I see them? My other icons such as battery percentage are gone as well. Where did all of my stuff go??

Re: how to switch out of task view mode?

First of all it sounds like your graphics driver is corrupt.

Pressing Alt+Tab should get you out of task view, then again I guess you're already aware of that :).

In regards to the task bar settings, go to settings -> multi-tasking -> virtual desktops.

Please join and state which build you are running in this thread, if you are not sure.

1) Press the windows key+x together
2) Select Run from the list
3) Type in WinVer
