    I have received several calls from someone with very broken English claiming to be from windows 10 telling me there is a problem with my computer. they want to access it to fix it. is windows 10 doing this.

    Those are scammers, please ignore them.

    Legitimate people don't phone people out-of-the-blue.

    NEVER fall for this baloney.

    Only EVIL people call you this way.

    If you gave them ANY information be careful. Alert your bank you may be at risk for identity theft if these persons were given any access to your computer. If they charged you for a service it is FRAUD and needs to be reported to secure the method of payment (card or account number). Discuss what was said and done on these calls. They should have sound advice for you.

    Report the calls to your phone company, especially if they show a phone number to caller ID.

    Block that number from reaching you.
