Error code: 0x80188306 when updating a 950 XL insider device

[Windows Central Question]

I have 950XL, single SIM enrolled in insiders with a OS and firmware version of:

OS: 10.586.29
FW: 01078.00027.15506.02008 (DL from WDRT)

When the devices attempts to update to the latest insiders build I get an error.

Error code: 0x80188306

Is anyone else having this issue?
Is there a work around?

Hello friend,I have the same problem, with the same telephone, the error code is due memory issues, even that I have available 25gb , I'll give a try tomorrow putting an sd card to se if it solves, then I'll tell you.

Hello again I found the solution, here what to do.
Start downloading the new os,after that completes, the phone will start to install this update.
In that very moment, put the telephone in airplane mode, and make sure all the windows are closed.. Wait till it finish the process.. YOU'RE WELCOME..
