Windows Central Question

can make all letters together in partition

As I went to the partition and format section of windows it shows like this:

Disk C: 250 Gb, Disk d: 100 gb, disk d: 55 gb, disk f: 20gb, disk d: 10 gb

In my computer it shows disk D: 165 gb..But can someone help me how to make all the disk D : letter together so that I install Windows in that disk portion.

Here are some important questions....

What do you need saved off those partitions and are you certain you have it saved?

Is there an OS install on a partition you want to keep intact? Which drive letter(s) have an install or files you need to keep?

If you want to install one OS from scratch, why D:/ and not C:/ which is traditionally the OS install drive? Will it be dual boot?

I usually boot into this: SystemRescueCd and perform partition operations under GParted. But be careful you don't nuke what is needed. If it is a spare box, GParted should offer no problems for consolidating and formatting multiple partitions.
