No Backup option on 950

[Windows Central Question]

I'm all up to date for os and firmware through WI on my 950 on vodafone UK but there's no option to backup in update & security - anyone help?

Not sure if it makes a difference, but are you logged into your MS account?? Since backup is held on Onedrive, you kind of have to be logged in.

Thanks for the reply, yes I'm logged and photos are uploading ok, any other thoughts?

That's because the setting is not in update & security.

It is in Backup. Just open Settiings and type 'backup' into the seach box. Seems logical enough!

I have the same problem, no backup option in my Lumia 950. Wherever this option is supposed to be in settings, running a search throws up no results. Can anyone help?

I just typed "backup" in the L950 Settings search box and these are the four results:

• Background apps
• Backup
• contacts+message backup
• Feedback & diagnostics

I reckon the second and third options are the ones you're looking for.

you've checked for OS updates? And what OS version are you on? Check in settings > system > about > OS build
