how to NOT delete e-mails on the provider server, when they are deleted on the Limia 550

[Windows Central Question]

On my Android phone, if I deleted a mail from the in box it was not deleted on the provider server. This enabled me to display it on my desktop and save it in a folder.

The Lumia 550 deletes it formt the in box and on the provider server. How can I prevent this?

I'm not sure why you are deleting something you want to keep... Is it to display fewer messages?

You can enter Settings > email + accounts > tap on email name > edit how long a history to display.
