Why are my headphones being registered as mono?

[Windows Central Question]

I got my headphones, they worked fine for a while. Everything was great, I had a blast, no issues yet.

So I plugged them in today, and sound was only coming from one side. I didn't change any settings, and nothing in windows detected a problem, so idk what to do.

Skullcandy Crusher (bass-amplification & soundproofing)
Plugged into my CPU, not my speakers.

The first thing to do is to make sure they are firmly plugged in, the second is to test them on another device, if they are mono on the second device then it sounds like a driver has given up, if they are stereo on the second device then the problem is on the first device (Or not pushed in properly).
