Why are my Lumia 935 start screen tiles take up only 2/3 of screen?

Upon just receiving this phone, the tiles take up only 2/3 of the start screen (it's like the view panned out, and I just can't zoom into them, if that makes sense). I tried adjusting this via the settings to no avail.

Check something for me - in settings, under start, do you have option "show more tiles"? If you turn that on, does it fix? Also what OS are you on?

You have three columns to play with now so you can move tiles into that empty space.
